Yesterday, a friend asked for his number (he never called himself, that's why he's not familiar with it *giggles*). I gave him all his numbers - 2 mobiles, 1 office landline and 1 house landline. He laughed. I didn't realize, another person next to us was listening. He asked if I know a friend's number. I checked my phone, asked what he needs - 2 mobiles, 2 landlines, a fax and an email add. He then commented, "I heard right about you! You are a walking directory!"
I might sound or look funny to others but it is good to keep people's numbers. You'll never know when you're gonna need to make a call. You see, I met a policeman one time and I got his number after few minutes of us talking. When the rascals attacked us last year, he was the first person I rang. Not long, the patrol was already at the crime site; I was able to order a cake while travelling; Was able to call my bankers even overseas; was able to make hotel bookings when urgently needed. Technology has given us the facilities, make full use of them. I have a lot more to say but am on the phone right now, Lina is asking me for Mayette's or Glenn's numbers... :)
Can I also have Ate Zenia's mobile phone number??
ReplyDeleteHi Glenn, it should be Cynia :) and yes, I can give her mobile to you even though she is just your next door neighbor.
