What did these problems do to me?
First, I met new people - the cream of the crop. People I never thought of talking to. Now they are added to the group of friends I have. Top of the managers of different sectors, now I can call and have a friendly chat with or ask for any advice should I need one.
Second, I have proven again the strength of prayer, the trust we should give God. He is ever faithful and will always listen, no matter how softly you whispered. God will take away the burden if you will just allow Him. Borrowing the words of a friend, he said..."these problems are not mine, they are yours, Lord. Handle them."
Third, I treasure my family and old friends more. They didn't leave me during my darkest days. They have supported me all through out this ordeal. Things became bearable because they cried with me when I was sad and laughed at me, when I felt so dumb. They prayed for me when I needed it most.
There are lots of positive things that happened. And those were after all the negatives had transpired. I will be living a new life. A life free from the shadows of those who made my life complicated. I will be moving on. Keep all the important lessons I learned.
There is always a silver lining, no matter how hard things had been, something good always comes out of it! I really am very proud of you! - Dey :-)
