Sprouting Hope

I checked my orchids a week ago. The hanging ones had dried up. The ones on the grounds are still very healthy and and has started to bloom flowers. The dried ones are the expensive orchids, they are very senstive and need extra attention and nourishing to survive. I have not looked after them for awhile. I have too much in my plate these days, big pieces in my plate that I did not notice the small things that surround me.

Three days ago, I prayed. I was asking God for a miracle. I asked for a sign that he answered my prayers. I remebered my orchids. I asked him to nourish my dried orchids as a sign that He heard me. Yesterday after work, I was talking to Apo and Delvin at the verandah when a green thing caught my attention. I quickly came down and checked my hanging orchids. Each of them has a newly grown leaf. One is even starting to bud. I smiled! In prayer, I should not doubt. God has always been my protector. I should always trust in Him. Praises be yours oh, God!!!
