Small, Slow, Sure Steps

Just before typhoon Rolly’s landfall, we were enjoying a bright, sunny Saturday morning. I was removing my hanged plants to prepare for the strong typhoon. A lump of something attached to the roof bar caught my eyes. I moved closer (higher) to check what it was. Alas! It was a baby snail. He was like 9 ft high. This little one must have travelled about 14ft (upward then horizontally) to reach where it was. My calculative   💭   brain started researching and computing   🧮  . An adult land snail 🐌   travels 3 inches   📐    📏          ⏰   per minute. To reach 14ft...
Speed = distance/time
Given the distance and speed, let us compute for the time it travelled.
Time  ⏱  = distance/speed  🚴‍♀️
Time = (14 ft x 12 in/ft)/ 3in/min
Time = 168 in/3in/min
Time = 56 min
56 mins for an adult snail to travel 14ft (4.267 m) if it didn’t stop to rest or eat. This was a baby snail so it must have taken him thrice or four times the time. Assuming it travelled for 168 mins (56x3 is 168 and it is my favorite number  🏆🏆🏆).   The baby snail took 2.8hrs to travel 4.267meters. That is so slow and 2.8hrs walk is tiring for human. The baby snail did it. Hurray for the baby snail who persevered to reach the top.
Lesson: No matter how small, slow and insignificant you are, if you are passionate, persevering, brave and confident in what you want to achieve you will reach the top.
(But beware, when you are already there, there will always be an inconsiderate a**ho*e who will not believe in you, cut you out and bring you down.)
Anyway, I did not understand  🤔🤔🤔  why the baby snail was there. I felt sorry. It must have lost its way. I put it back to the ground 😬.
