SWANpaguita

I am greatly saddened upon learning the death of a friend. She is not a very, very close friend but we had a share of few drinks and nights with good stories and laughters. She was a very kind, generous, modest lady. She has patience, understanding and considerate heart that If I only have half of her goodness I can consider myself a successful woman.

The day I learned of her passing, my sis-in-law gave me this plant - sampaguita (arabian jasmine). I have repotted it and called it Swan. Sampaguita is a flowering plant that has either single or multiple petals. Its flowers are very small, white, simple but generously give fragrance. My friend Swan is not a simple lady by birth but very simple by her character. I have so much respect for her.

Rest in peace and be in God’s loving presence, my dear Swanny.
