I Never Noticed You

You were looking from afar, staring at me...and you are happy just seeing me happy.  You are happy just being with the people who I am with.  You are contented to just hear me laugh or see me smile...even though you knew I wasn't smiling at you, I wasn't laughing with you. But you are just there appreciating the moment that you are where I also am.  Though I never noticed you.

You sung a love song that really touched my heart. I admired your voice and shook your hands in admiration.  I asked you to sing more and you did.  I didn't know you were singing from the heart. I didn't know you were singing it for me. I never noticed it.

You were there observing my actions. Trying to check through my movements whether I am really happy or if there is something deep-seated that is bothering me. You were ready to give a hand, but I did not know. I never noticed you.

I am loved, you didn't want to let me know. You are happy quietly watching me from the background. You are happy silently loving me. You are happy not to let me know, you do not want me to go and avoid you. You loved me but I never noticed you.
